Margaret Olney McBride
Margaret held a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Iowa, and a Master's degree from the American University in Washington, DC. Margaret was widely know as an accomplished painter in the DC area, where she spent most of her career. She was best known for painting large, beautiful landscapes. Southern France, Ireland, the C&O Canal and sites along the Potomac were among her favorite subjects to paint. Later in life, Margaret produced works featuring the Finger Lakes Region of NY State.
